Our Fargo, North Dakota based client is the premier electronic systems integrator in the West Fargo-Fargo-Moorhead area. They design and implement audio/video and automation systems for home or businesses including: home theater systems, multi-room audio/video, lighting, shading, networking, surveillance and high-end control systems.
Responsibilities
Our Client is looking for an experienced Lead Technician who can provide consistent communication with the Owner, other technicians, contractors, vendors, and clients. This position is responsible for working with the Owner and other technicians assigned to the project to ensure successful execution and completion of the project, particularly the finish phase.
Qualifications
Should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in residential electronic systems installation or service.
Ability to visualize the sequence of work and convert it to a measureable plan and schedule.
Ability to work under pressure, assess multiple demands, and manage priorities.
Ability to delegate and direct the work of others while creating a positive, learning environment.
Ability to communicate effectively in person and/or via email, phone, or text to varied audiences.
Knowledge of residential systems integration including audio/video, lighting, shades, climate control, security, CCTV, telephone and computer networks including the ability to setup, configure, calibrate, and commission equipment after physical installation.
An understanding of signal flows and control systems for distributed audio, video, and home theater systems and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems.
Ability to work under pressure, assess multiple demands, and manage priorities.
Ability to read and interpret blue prints, electronic schematics, and user manuals.
Knowledge of construction techniques and wiring methods for new and existing construction.
Proficient with hand and power tools used to complete physical installations of speakers, displays, equipment racks, and ventilation systems.
Familiar with the use of proper safety equipment for specific tasks and personal protection.
Ability to perform calculations, analyze reports, and engage in strategic and creative problem solving.
Physical requirements include standing, sitting, walking, bending, climbing, reaching and lifting up to 80 lbs.
